The Pale Rider

Enhanced version of a Synfire demo track. The cheesy melody was replaced with a more edgy one generated by a KIM Factory in Synfire Pro 2.0. Yeah, that's what algorithmic phrases are always good for: Getting rid of cheesy clichés and stereotypes. By the way, all sounds are from our Sprike synth (freeware).

Sprikes

Example composition created with Synfire Pro. Added 4 key changes at 0:49 (Am/Bm), 1:04 (C/D), 1:10 (C#m) and 1:18 (C#m/Am). The last key change at 1:18 is very hefty, an instant jump from C# Minor back to the distant A Minor, although I like it. Has something fragile to it. Features the SWAM Engine Soprano Sax.

The Departure

100% same arrangement with merely a single parameter replaced: Harmony: F#m E Dmaj7 C#m7(9). Demonstrates Synfire's powerful A.I. and auto-compposing.

The Departure (B)

Exactly same arrangement as "The Departure", only with a different harmony progression in E Major. Results in a very "classical" feel, giving rise to an entirely different mood.

A medley of short piano phrases, all generated by KIM Factories in Synfire Pro. The phrases are very feature rich to demonstrate KIM capabilities. For each phrase there exist more subdued and sparse variants, too.

Aurora Borealis

Example what grooves incrementally developed with Synfire may sound like. The variety of styles and rhythms is vast. This is but one simple two-chords possibility.

Groove Development

Just one or two phrases can get an entire song started from scratch. This example takes two phrases from the Example Piano library (The Pale Rider, Entangled Lines), splits them by symbol type and uses the resulting lines for different instruments.

Listen to the generated phrases first, then a few parts that were arranged based on them.

A piano piece by Claude Debussy ("Reverie") used as the basis for an electronic music product jingle, composed with Synfire. This is an example how Synfire can be utilized for electronic music and all sorts of crossover styles.

We werged two tracks into one ("Aurora Borealis" and "Leaving Orbit City") using the container import feature of Synfire Pro. A mesmerizing texture of under-the-surface melodies. Each time you listen. you may choose to follow a different one and will still never know them all.

Night In Singapore

On the seventh day, they discovered something underground that looked like a giant clockwork. Shimmering in the dim light of a deep shaft, it seemed to be made of unknown materials. It looked like complex technology from a time long past. When Carly shined her flashlight on it, a small circular hatch opened, revealing a translucent sphere that began to rotate. Inside, flickering rays of faint light revealed scenes of an apparently long-lost civilization before the stunned team's eyes.

Oriental jazz piano study composed with Synfire Pro

Jealousy (күншілдік)

This fragment is a reused and recycled texture from a piece by Claude Debussy ("Reverie"). It was rendered against completely different chords - those of of "Angel Eyes" - and processed with a human-like smooth rubato waveform in the Shift parameter.

Reverie Revisited

This example is based on three piano phrases blended by phrase morphing. As a result the piano player seems to improvise new phrasings all the time. The flute and oboe  motifs were cloned from a Bach concert. They are playing in 6/8 time while the piano is in 4/4. The possibilities of what can be combined are simply amazing!

Rachels Radiation (Bach on Steroids)

Built on a remix kit (vocals) that was originally produced for techno. Only the voice was used. Harmonized, recomposed and arranged with Synfire Pro in a day. Making this demo was a lot of fun, although the song is still a bit incomplete. It has a really epic feel to it.

A weird D&B remix based on vocals by Veela. This is work in progress. Will be updated during progress.
