Preface:  We discussed the importance and the impact of the Ten Commandments as an introduction to Exodus Chapter 20 during our last Bible Study on this topic.  The importance of the Commandments to the history of mankind as well as the purpose of God’s will for mankind would be difficult if not impossible to overemphasize.  The first four commandments deal with the ways we show God love as His people.  The fifth commandment is bridge dealing with our duties to our human parents along with the obvious implications to our Father in heaven.  The sixth commandment will dig deeply into the moral clarity we need to understand what it means not to murder.
