I started this track back in 2020, during a time of unrest — both around me and within.
It was supposed to be a quick release, but it kept slipping through my fingers. I reworked it countless times, chasing something I couldn’t quite name.

Over the years, the world changed — and so did the track.
What began as a reaction to one moment slowly turned into a reflection of many.

KAOS became a weight I carried. Now I’m ready to let it go.
Releasing it as it is, with all its scars and edges.

A personal document of a time that never felt quiet.

This EP is all about exploring various AI topics and trying to capture my visceral reaction after learning about them.
* NO AI WAS USED IN THE PRODUCTION OF THIS EP! *
AI can be a useful tool to leverage many things in life, but once technology starts to leverage itself, by itself, is when I believe we ought to become hypervigilant.
I personally feel we are well beyond that point.
Will AI be used for good or will AI use humans for evil? 
At this point, with little to no regulation, only time will tell...

Hello, I'm Slava. I've been making all types of electronic music since 2002. Though I was born in Russia, I now call Prague, Czech Republic my home.

From 2006 to 2013, I was known as Breakzhead. I was making nu skool breaks music and running a record label called Subtribe Records. We had lots of great artists and our records often appeared in the Beatport Breaks Top10 list. I was lucky enough to share the scene with big names such as The Freestylers, Meat Katie, Freq Nasty, and many others.

In 2014, things changed. I started a new music project called Cogun, investing more time in Drum & Bass music. I brought out a few records on labels like Mindtech and Onset Audio. But, after taking nearly a five-year break and gathering lots of unfinished music, I realized I didn't want to be limited by one music genre or style.

So, on May 31, 2020, I kicked off Cogun Music. It's my own record label and it’s all about sharing my new music without getting stuck in one genre.
