This is a collection of songs that I wrote and produced for my final major project at University called "Past Lives." Each of the songs are stylistically representative of popular music from the 50s to the 90s. My aim was to recreate the sound of each of these recordings using modern emulations of vintage gear. I paid a lot of attention to small details such as tube types, vinyl technology and mixing desk flaws in order to come as close to the target "sound" as possible.
