Alexx’s sound is as diverse as it is eccentric, making his sets perfect for any dance floor. He is well known for a flow that is both energetic and trippy, a journey through a collection of tracks with a bit of unique funk style. His taste has evolved and developed throughout the years, but his true passion always remains – “techno, deep, tech with a house taste.”

At the beginning of 2012, Alexx launched MEXA Records and in late 2014 he launched his second label COHESIVE. He now is the label owner and A&R of these promising labels and a DJ and producer with incredible taste, timing and vibe.

Victor Ruiz is, without a doubt, currently one of the biggest names in the Techno scene. His last year was full of big tracks, from his 'Go' remixes from Moby on our label to great tunes on Senso Sounds or Terminal M among many others. His signature sound is powerful, effective and special, and this 3-track EP proves that. 'Voyage' has a proper beat, chords and leads for a real trip. 'Interstellar' is that introspective and emotional track for closing your set or for a nice sunrise and 'Stardust' it’s a hands-in-the-air summer anthem in a serious way. Serious stuff here!

Tale Of Us present a new collaboration with Vaal for the sixth release on their Afterlife label. Three years after they teamed up for ‘Concur’ and began to tour together, the trio return with their most anthemic offering yet. Vaal’s hauntingly-beautiful and instantly-recognisable vocals are the centre-piece on ‘Monument’, building on the style of her Wander To Hell EP (AL002). The drums and shimmering synth lines are moody and uplifting in the way Tale Of Us have made their own, arranged perfectly for the psychedelic breakthrough.

On the flip side, ‘The Hangar’ takes a different approach to equally devastating effect. It pumps with added urgency and a thunderous, steely bassline lunges out from the low-end. Designed for large soundsystems and big rooms, ‘The Hangar’ finds Tale Of Us and Vaal at their most direct and it’s something to behold.

Barnt and Stephan Bodzin, two artists whose stand-out performances at recent Afterlife events have made them firm favourites with the crowds, are tapped for the remixes (AL007). They both take on ‘Monument’, Barnt opting for a rolling, percussive direction and Bodzin more ethereal and transportive.
