Coke and Christ was formed in 1988 by John "the Coke Dicked Baptist" and Peter "No Doz Snow Nose" Christ. The two were acquainted for the first time on a mission trip to London . Originally, they produced Acid House and broke onto the scene with their hit single "Nasal Salvation". They quickly released a follow up album, "Holy Cumunion" in 1990, which quickly sold 20,000 copies worldwide. Holy Cumunion was succeeded by the ground breaking "Psalms and Prostitutes" and "Bibles 'n Bitches",  but with success came hardships; John and Peter were arrested for cocaine possession in the summer of 1993 and were forced to enter rehabilitation programs for several years. The group briefly reformed in 1999 and released an electro single, "Sniff Drugs and Praise Jesus". While holding their release party in New York City, "Christellenicum", Peter was arrested for lewd conduct and possession of cocaine. Again, he entered into a rehabilitation program and the group went on a hiatus until recently. Their long anticipated album, "The Second Cumming", is expected to be released in late 2016.
