For their next release, the Diynamic label turns to a collaborative partnership that has had plenty of success before now, namely NTFO & Karmon. Previously their ‘Nobody Else’ tune for the label was a huge release and here they team up for a pair of brand new singles that are sure to soundtrack dancefloors for many months to come. The EP is the result of 5 days in the studio together and the resulting music is fresh, deep and arresting.

SPANISH ARTIST CUARTERO DEBUTS WITH THE DYNAMIC 'ABANDONADO' EP ON DESOLAT X The Desolat X series welcomes in spring with a package of peak-time house rollers by Spain's rising star Cuartero, who has already caused a stir with previous releases on labels such as VIVa Music, Moon Harbour Recordings and Butch's Bouq Records. Both 'Abandonado' and 'Children's Game' are perfectly executed examples of peak-time hedonistic house and their thumping beats are characterised by driving drums, pulsating bass, spoken world samples and percussion flourishes throughout. 'Strike' slows down the tempo, adding exotic sounds and samples that create a brooding tense house record. 'Sweet In the Morning' again operates at a slightly slower BPM, with a deeper groove and percussion spirals sweeping throughout the track. Normal service resumes on 'Remember Then' which rounds off the EP in fine style. It is another rolling house cut, which features deep bass, hip-hop sample and 808 whirls. All in all the 'Abandonado' EP is a classy debut release from Cuartero, and his best release to date. Label artwork by Digital Primate.

Hot Creations call upon VIVa boss Steve Lawler for their next release, rounding 2014 off with a bang - an amazing year for the leading label. With such a widespread knowledge of music and the industry, here Lawler gives us a musical education. ‘House Record’ is a dose of old school 80s house injected with a modern twist with ‘City Nights’ following suit on the B-side. There is no doubt both tracks will dominate the dance floor at peak time, capturing each heart with their infectious bouncing bass-lines, pacey percussions and all round feel good energy. This is proving to be a huge release for Hot Creations and Steve, featuring heavily in Jamie, Richy, Lee and Steve’s set’s… this is seriously HOT!

Steve’s music can be found on highly respected labels such as R&S Record, Drumcode, Cocoon, OVUM, Rekids, Soma, and of course his own imprint VIVa MUSiC. He also has a huge release dropping on Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It at the end of this year. Remixes of high proﬁle artists such as Jamelia, Dido and Justin Timberlake can also be found. One Records co-founder Subb-an gets set to release his first full output for the label with two solid club cuts that both embody him as an artist and also the label. Title track ‘Warp’ takes the A-side with Subb-an teaming up once again with vocalist Jacob Phono, since ‘In The Night’ was released on Cocoon, to deliver ‘TV’ on the flip. This is certainly one of Subb-an’s standout releases to date, fully epitomising what he plays in his sets and not to mention one of his personal favourites.  
Originally from Birmingham, Ashique Subhan aka Subb-an now resides in Berlin. A DJ, producer and live artist, his success has been testament to his hard work and dedication . His prodigious studio talents have seen him release on Spectral, Crosstown Rebels, Visionquest, Cocoon and his own One Records.
Taking a break from playing live due to establishing himself as a highly respected DJ, this summer has seen him come back to playing live, taking his show on the road and showcasing his new material at the likes of fabric, Warehouse Project in Manchester, Panorama Bar and Glastonbury where he closed the Genisys stage after Francois K. The tour has stood alongside his heavy DJ schedule, playing at all the major hot spots including regular gigs at DC10’s Circoloco this summer.

Making their anticipated return on the Los Angeles-based Superfreq imprint, Jonra & e:machinery have turned in one helluva mind trip via their Medicine Man EP release. Filling out the darker and headier areas of dance music, the production pair powers through a brain-blistering, five-track package that carries cerebral software and analog framework of the highest degree. Pulling most of the weight of this release is the title cut, which sees the duo construct an aural maze that’s carefully strung together from bits of psychic spoken word, cinematic pads, driving basslines and spacey synth structures. Jonra & e:machinery take things to the next level with this introspective, cosmically in-tune techno track. Spoiler alert: It’s a keeper.

After her incredible Changes EP on Crosstown Rebels earlier this year, new lady of house Francesca Lombardo continues to impress this time through the Rebellion arm of the enterprise with her Eyes of Nature EP.

‘Eyes’ is first up and opens with a slick percussive grove characterised by lots of organic elements coalescing to paint a mesmerising, ritualistic picture. Bells, shakers and cymbals rattle and echo while deep haunting synths climb and fall to create a real sense of drama. Francesca utilises her vocal training to devastating effect intermittently throughout the track, panning her own heavily FX'd vocals across the mix further adding to the suspense.

On the flip and Julien Riachi’s vocal and a tabla drum riff set the tone on ‘Wander and Wonder’ before an ever returning woodblock melody signals the arrival of a killer baseline which takes the track straight to the dance floor. Exquisite production skills ensure that sonically and elementally the track is constantly going somewhere, whilst Lombardo's classically trained ear ensures that she can effortlessly make perfect musical sense of all the different parts within her tracks.

With Halloween just around the corner, this release will definitely be heard at a few spooky soirees across the globe...
