Now Old School Deep House mixed tape recorded live while sitting on the floor during an after party at 72 Danforth Street, Portland, Maine, (was there really even a before or after in those days?) and transfered to CD in 2009. Comprised of Downtown NY style deep house tracks released between 1991-93. Remember what JP's floor in Brooklyn looked liked to this tape the morning after we didn't get into Sound Factory kids???

Due to BITERS who try to sneak on here and steal my selection/style without due credit, tracklisting is now only available to those who contact me directly.

This mix of mostly early 90's Underground Deep House (and a few twists), was originally recorded live on cassette in 1993 at a party hosted by Shanna D - in her Basement of Red Décor and Red Lights - and was transferred to digital for Jason "Jaysoul" Johnson on December 25th, 2012.

Furthermore, disco, whether its US classics on Salsoul, Prelude, West End, the UK jazz-funk sound, or Italo-disco, is prominently showcased in Colbourne’s sets.

Colbourne has lent his style and music to parties targeting straight and gay crowds; mainstream and underground audiences.

Past and current residencies include Color at the Milky Way, Solid! and FOXY at Zuzu, Group Hug at Enormous Room, Evolution and Mirrorshades at Good Life, and Mr. Goodbar at Club Oberon, AllSkate at Chez Vous roller rink. He has appeared at Rise, Phoenix Landing, and the Middlesex (as a recurring guest for Disco-nnection). He has also played in NYC and Montreal.
