The Light of Day

In May of 2012, members of 3 Sheffield based bands played an impromptu gig at a jam night. Despite having a clear chemistry, and due to commitment to their respective bands, it was not until September that Cold Killer Footsteps formed, playing their first gig at the "Sheffield Sound Festival":

"[one of] their own compositions struck a chord with us, because they'd finished writing it in the car on the way down, an all funk [song] with a twinge of stoner grunge"

In the aftermath of their first gig, Cold Killer Footsteps were booked to play well respected Sheffield music venues such as "Corporation" and Sheffield's o2 academy. 

"If you imagine that Black Sabbath and the Red Hot Chili Peppers had a baby, and that baby was loud, that would be Cold Killer Footsteps"
