Over the past few years, BNJMN has fostered a name for himself through rich slabs of intricately cut techno. Having offered up material to Delsin's 100DSR compilation series last year, he finally looms large with a proper debut on the label with a six-track EP, due Sept 22nd.

'Berth' really stakes out his intentions for the new record: wide-eyed and wild, it's a hugely inventive left-turn into hallucinatory technoid experimentation. What's more, this one airs with his new video too: a strange dreamwalk into the uncanny visual world of Jonathan Omer Mizrahi.

Took a bit of a break from demos and releases after extending the family with a cute little boy, but now we’re back with some of the best deep techno and house lined up for you! But first, something completely different.
Michele Mininni hails from the south of Italy and counts everything from post- and krautrock over new wave, house and disco amongst his influences. He’s been a DJ for years, but only recently released his debut EP on Optimo Trax in Glasgow. He immediately found himself on the playlists of Beats In Space and Rinse FM. We were literally blown away when he sent us his music and didn’t hesitate to release it although it’s not what you’re used to hear from us. It’s hard to describe ‘Endless Ceremony’. Epic, but not as you know it. Cosmic, definitely.
For the remix we thought of Rocketnumbernine. Two brothers with releases on Soul Jazz, Four Tet’s Text label and more recently an album on Smalltown Supersound. Currently touring with James Holden and  Neneh Cherry. Their remix could be described as almost dreamy electronica/idm.
We think this is a really special release. The following people already agree: Gavin Russom, Âme, Ripperton, A Made Up Sound, James Holden, Optimo, Deadbeat, Tim Sweeney, Locked Groove… First pressing on coloured vinyl!

After the ground-breaking release of 1990's "Love's Secret Domain" album, Coil were not dormant; the main project was "Backwards", which was started in 1992, updated considerably between 1993 and 1995, and transferred in 1996 to New Orleans, where it was finished in the magic of the Nothing studios of Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails). The album saw the fruition of Jhonn Balance's recent vocal coaching, producing haunting, passionate vocals, while reaching new heights.

23 years after its initiation, these tracks have been beautifully preserved by Danny Hyde and are finally available in highest quality audio. Differing substantially from the later, remixed incarnation, "The New Backwards" (2008), "Backwards" contains the original versions of Coil's much-loved tracks; 'A Cold Cell' and 'Fire Of The Mind', which have appeared on various compilations over the years, and are now presented as originally intended.

This album is the essential bridge between "LSD" and the later "Musik To Play In The Dark" series. It is an essential conduit, to understand the journey that was taken. It was to be released... it should have been released... but for boring legal issues it wasn't. It is now, so enjoy. (Danny Hyde).

Our first guest is the owner of the long running electronic-noise, Industrial dark-folk label Cold Spring now based here in Manchester. Since 1990 Justin Mitchell and Cold Spring have been at the forefront of cutting edge experimental electronic music with releases from acts such as Merzbow, Trepaneringsritualen and Coil. 

Tonight Justin has brought for us some of the staple tracks that have come to define Cold Spring as the label it is today with an exclusive first play from Khosts upcoming album on the label. 

Our Second guest is Nick Wallwork of Silent Message and bass guitarist with the British Black Metal outfit 'Winterfyleth' 
bringing us tonight a selection from his drum and bass record collection. as well as a discussion on the more subtle tones of Drum & Bass and his own experiences in DJing and writing music as part of a band.
