Imagine Godzilla fighting a sexy rock-and-roll monster that purred like thunder, sang like a hurricane, shot love-lasers out of one eye and truth-lasers out of the other, and reached out with a million flailing tendrils into the ear-holes of everyone who looked at it. AKA a kick-ass prog rock band with powerful female vocals and an undying love of rock. (PS. Godzilla loses)

Once, the fates endeavored to create a most righteous sound, and thus 
came together Cold Static's founding members, Emilee Wood & B. Alex Pope. 
For a decade they wandered, delivering supernova vocals and guitar kung-fu to the people, but unable to fully sate the rock beast. Having found themselves thrown through the blustery sands of time and landed in Portland, they searched for band mates. As dubious luck would have it, and perhaps the sacrificial mermaid helped, the sleek Kyle Stephenson, drum meister, found them first. Half spokesmodel, half percussion demon, literal splinters fly through the air like a mad lumberjack when he lays down the beats. Then came bassist Brian Johnson, new blood, some guy who just showed up one day but was cute so we kept him, the sultan of the long strings and bey of the bottom end. A clap of thunder and the fates smiled. Their powers combined, Cold Static straddles the stage once again. Brace yourself. 

Rock was never dead, it was merely slumbering, gathering its power.
