The second of two pieces I wrote for my friend for her solo project.
This used to be a more piano based Prog Metal piece and was the 4th piece of music I ever created, dating back to 2008.

A Void Of Stars

I wrote this song in 2013 as a lullaby style track, so it contains a very lulling synth that eventually gives way to a piano and string exit.
Named after that which inspired it, the Andromeda Galaxy.

Andromeda

The piano work in this one is a little sketchy, but I decided to keep it as is regardless.
Written as a musical accompaniment to the day when the Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxies collide.

Solaris

I was inspired to write this track after having an extensive discussion about my childhood with a girl who has had a very similar experience in her life regarding the role that books and libraries have played, and the way they shaped us both to be the people we are.
The song itself works in several movements, starting during the day in a beautiful, ancient and massive fantasy library filled with every conceivable book you could imagine, and gradually progresses until dusk, then moving through sunset, turning the library all kinds of beautiful shades of silver and blue as night falls, then working right through the starlit night, until dawn.

A piece I wrote when I was in a deep depression at the end of last year.

Obsidian Waves

I don't honestly remember when or even for what reason I wrote this particular track, but I do like it very much.

Midnight Forest

A piano piece I've had since 2011, now accompanied finally by strings.
The direct inspiration for the evolution of sound is....a secret, at least for now.
Certainly one of the more unusual tracks I've written.

Goddess Of Shadows

An updated version of a track previously known as Acid Stars, now called Orbital Presence.
Revised, cleaned, a few leads added. There is a section where it jumps and basically repeats but the idea is that my guitarist and drummer will be filling said jump with something substantial.
Not being used for Ghostwinter Grave.

Orbital Presence

Don't mind the buzzy noise in the background, some issue with the device being used to record.
Written for my beloved Miki, a song meant to convey the light of the moon and stars, as she is my light in the encroaching darkness.

Moonfaerie

Initially I was going to write a new piece of music, however on searching through some older material I found this piece, which I decided to record some little additions to.
The entire piece was written, played and recorded by me on my Yamaha Motif XS6 keyboard.
Eventually I will add vocals to the mix and may even flesh it out into a full song.

Winter Sky

This is basically a collection of random pieces of music I've composed between 2008 and 2018, eventually leading to this being a solo project, slowly building up towards an EP "Multicoloured Loss".
Primarily the keyboardist/composer for Ghostwinter Grave.
Influences range from Nightwish and Agalloch to film score and video game music.
