This is a cover of a classic Billy Joel tune that me and my dad completed in roughly 6 hours of recording time. It was mixed and mastered on the same day. I hope you all enjoy this, and hopefully there will be more to come!

In this recording, we discover a more intimate side of Mr. Birmingham, as he attempts to write from the very depths of his heart. Notice how it's as if he's not singing, however crying out in a catharsis of desire and longing. It makes you think, "If this manly man can talk about feelings in his music, then I suppose I can too. I got some new recording toys, which in turn makes me want to record something, which will make me want to write something. This little number was based on a walk I took in early March. The sidewalk was deserted, and the only thing that gave a sense that I wasn't alone was the cars that were passing by. It was a time of solitude, and also a time to stop by Subway and grab a sandwich because there was nothing to eat that day. Ahhhhhh, tuna with cheddar, some mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and some red wine vinaigrette. I can taste it now.
