Our tribute to our friend Garth Hewitt: singer, songwriter, campaigner, troubadour and fine soul. This song tells the story of the March on Washington in 1963 and how the great gospel singer Mahalia Jackson urged Martin Luther King to put aside his written speech, which was causing people to drift off in the sweltering sun, and instead tell them what he'd said at a worship service about a dream he'd had. He pushed aside his notes and took them to church, giving one of the most notable speeches in human history. This version of the song was conceived and performed by Cole Moreton and David Perry with vocals from Claire Tabraham and sound magic by Bruce Pont.

His Radio 4 series The Boy Who Gave His Heart Away won Audio Moment of the Year at the Arias and Best Writing at the World's Best Radio awards in New York.
