At the start of the year, with the pandemic still creepin', I started doing an online thing that resembled my previous monthly situation at one of my favorite clubs, Monarch. The format was that me and a guest would play two different sets in an alternating scenario. I wound up only doing the one, as we then found out about the vaccines so I had real, live in-person vibes on my mind...

So here's my first set from that session... It's a starter, featuring tracks by everyone from Harks & Mudd to Eagles of Death Metal and beyond.... :)

Sails Of Charon  (Ownership Edit)

A dub-influenced bass line ebbs with a beat that doesn't ever break, while falsetto vocals swirl around a calling for hope, that recognizes change. The song reminds me of Spiritualized, if they did a balearic, deep house track.
