"I was introduced to an extraordinary Victorian Mining site at Morwellham Quay which offered unique historical introspection and space - after long tours away from home there was an energy about this stillness that was intoxicating and felt the perfect place to write and record this first single. The vastness of it paired with all the forgotten silent stories and the change being witnessed mesmerized my imagination and re-energised me and for once, the quiet was louder". C.

"With this song I tried to write a quiet anthem about how love grounds and defines us in the most beautiful life-affirming way. The verse words are adapted from a 17th Century anonymous poem called ‘Love Will Find Out The Way’ and within this I found a message which transcends time - that love is the key, even when we don’t realise we’re lost, it will make sure we are found. It was written on the Octave Mandolin, an instrument I’ve had for a long time but suddenly resonated with me and what I was creating, playing it in an open tuning I found freedom to explore different harmonies. I remember putting this song together on a frozen January day at my studio space in a regenerated Victorian Clay Factory, but with a profound sense of warmth within these words and from where this song took me.
I also asked my friend and fellow singer-songwriter Jack Cookson to provide some accompaniment to the first mix and what he recorded took the song to where I always hoped it would go. He provided his magical soulful touch on guitar and Hammond organ and having Jack adding to this song sums up what it is ultimately about - the joy and importance of human connection and creation". Cole Stacey - All We Are

A uniquely visceral and lyrical songwriter, singer and musician, Cole Stacey roams the highest echelons of British folk through to legendary 80s synth pop, from The Royal Albert Hall to The Westfalenhalle Arena, from 700-year-old castles in Gdansk to Glastonbury Festival. 
With a decade-long association with Midge Ure and as nearly one half of alt-folk sensation India Electric Company, Cole has played sold-out tours of Australia, New Zealand, UK, Scandinavia and Germany in a plethora of styles and instruments including mandolin, bass guitar, synthesisers and vocals.

Recorded in numerous regenerated and distinctive settings from a 13th Century former jail to a Victorian clay factory, this captivating record reached the UK album charts in its first week. With live performances on the likes of BBC Radio 5 Live, Times Radio, Folk on Foot and eye-catching concerts in a host of historic and unusual settings, for someone so well travelled, this next chapter is finally bringing Cole Stacey home.
