This is one of my favourite pieces of classical music of all time (and as someone who isn't an avid listener, that's saying something!) There's something so powerful and emotive about this piece and whilst listening to it on a film soundtrack and subsequently after purchasing it, I felt compelled to arrange and produce this remix. It won't be to everyone's taste, that's for sure, but I love how its beauty is transcendent and even as I take it in a direction associated with 2-Step, breakbeat and bass music, it retains its power simply because of what was penned and played in the first place. I hope you enjoy it, and if you do, please share it!

Over 150 years on, ‘The Curragh Wrens’ revisits the story of a group of women who until now, were destined to be forgotten.
