This is what I was doing before I started writing "classical" music!

Hammer & Tongs was a typical example of my experiments in the 1990s with sampling acoustic instruments and creating MIDI sequenced dance-music influenced tracks out of the samples.
In this case the instrument sampled was a Welmar upright piano. No other sound source is being used.

Equipment list : 
Emu E-Synth Sampler, Waldorf Pulse+ (for the analog filter input), Behringer compressor, Yamaha 01v digital desk, Logic version 4(?).

Film maker Gabriella Cserhati used this track in 2001 for a short film called "Codec". Unfortunately this is currently not available to watch online.
