This song was writing in Moab at a camp fire. It is meant to express a personal desire to grow or be reborn after our travels. The message related to the way that fire can devastate the land but also creates opportunity for new healthy growth.

I am in Louisiana now enjoying some live music and culture. I through together this cover of "Louisiana Saturday Night" on my way out here to celebrate. I heard this song covered more times than any other song while living in Nashville. Have not heard it once since arriving in Louisiana though... Maybe "Louisiana Saturday Night" is to Louisiana what "Wagon Wheel" Is to Colorado.
