Good jingles, good context and perfect presentation from our Tel, its great to hear his voice like this, as he was. Such a sad loss :-(

Pirate Song - No Vocal

In 1979, TM Productions (Dallas) sold a package of radio jingles to KYGO-FM, Denver.  The station opted for the "L.A. vocals" by the Ron Hicklin Singers.  The jingles came from TM's "Winning Score" and "Fusion" packages.
Since I was then living in L.A., TM asked me to record and mix the jingles, along with Program Director John Driscoll.  It was October 10, 1979.  We did the vocals at Bell Sound Studios (Dick Hart engineered), then had to leave with the master 24-tk because the session ran long and Orson Welles had the studio booked after us,  (Sadly, we didn't get to meet him.)
We went to Crimson Sound, where I mixed the package, then to the Village Recorder for editing.  
Here's the package, which I dubbed to CD years later.  It's in stereo, and the track list is on my Facebook page.

KYGO WS - Fusion 10 - 79

Airchecks of Wake Up To Wogan from 16 and 17 February 1998 and the launch of the new Radio 2 jingles. After 22 years, Radio 2 dropped JAM and bought a dreadful package from another company to coincide with the new Controller "freshening up" the station.  For me, that was the final nail in the station's coffin.
