The second song I ever wrote... This is one of the first demos I ever made on a computer, using Ableton Live as a DAW. I was probably around 16 years old.

Your Love

A cover of the popular worship song. My version is inspired by the Shane & Shane version. Enjoy! This was my first attempt at using a microphone to record an acoustic guitar (rather than using the direct signal, as I had in previous recordings). I think it turned out pretty well. This song was helpful in my learning how to EQ different tracks to create space for all instruments in the frequency spectrum.

We Are Hungry

A midterm project for a music class I took in college-- we were allowed to do whatever we wanted. I chose to do a mashup of several then-current songs, including "Disturbia" by Rihanna, "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga, "Let it Rock" by Kevin Rudolf, and others. At this point, I was quite familiar with how to use Logic Pro, (still my DAW of choice, though I'm slowly learning Pro-Tools). However, this was my first attempt at a mashup, which, given songs in different keys and tempos, is much harder to coordinate than one might think.
