Set was originally named "Durban Poison" because I found a newly legal marijuana store that sold this variety.  Durban Poison is famous for being the only variety of marijuana that made it to a track name "Durban Poison" by Babylon Timewarp.  Unfortunately, I don't have either versions of this record, not even a good pirate copy, so calling this mix that seems loopy.

This mix is full of heavy tunes, most of them are recent represses from Brent at Vinyl Fanatiks.  The moment the phat cords from KZ1 "Drop The Bass" comes in is an instant jaw drop!  I've heard that particular rave cord many times but here in this KZ1 track, it's a different beast.  There's a hefty amount of bass behind those cords that you don't usually hear.  It just makes the sound that much phatter.  

The other real stand out for me is the Anthony Miles track called Rainbow Country "Live Together" (Liftin Spirit ADMM68) 1991/2022.  Ever since the Liftin Spirit represses I've been a real fan of Anthony.  He is in every way as good as Ron Wells if not better.  I'm blown away by his 1991-1992 tracks.  They're unlike any other productions.  Sure he has that Rhythm Section sound but just so much cleaner.  This track "Live Together" is one of the best ones I've heard from him thus far.  It has this really deep dark techno vibe and then in the center it goes into the most hands in the air Rhythm Section bit ever before going back into the dark jungletekno.  This track is a true masterpiece!
