L'Étoile est composée en 4 parties de la façon suivante:
The Most Fabulous Doom ft. Eat Gas (jusqu’à 4min)
L’Etoile (4min/10min)
Epiphanie ft. Léo Margue (10min/16min)
Le Crabe ft. Nsdos (de 16min à la fin)
La première partie est un hommage à MF Doom composé en duo avec Eat Gas,  compagnon de longue date et membre de Dr(Dr)One. On glisse ensuite vers le cœur de l’étoile, rugueux et mystérieux, rythmé par le jeu obsessionnel de David Neerman.
La troisième partie est née d’une improvisation avec le chef d’orchestre Léo Margue au saxophone. Epiphanie menant jusqu’au dernier acte, première apparition du Crabe. 
Ces quatres pièces sont greffées les unes aux autres pour proposer une déambulation curieuse. Elles n’en forment plus qu’une, l’étoile. Morceau fleuve sur lequel on retrouve David Neerman au vibraphone et au piano et Quentin Rollet au saxophone. Ils enregistrent chacun leurs prises d’une traite, une heure sans filet. 
L’album est conçu de cette manière comme une sorte de ping pong musical. Dès les premières maquettes, les impros se tuilent les unes aux autres. Après c’est surtout l’ordre de passage des invités et leurs personnalités qui viennent incarner des instants qui se succèdent.

In case you don't know: Kapote used to produce music under the name MUNK and run an indie dance label called GOMMA. Back in the late 2000s he was producing music with LCD Soundsystem, Peaches, WhoMadeWho, The Rammellzee and others.  Now, Toy Tonics re-releases the song in a new version.
