These songs were recorded on my Boss Micro; an AMAZING little bit of kit!  It's a hand-held multi-track recorder the size of an iPhone.  You just sing into it or plug your guitar into it and go.  All the FX and guitar sounds were the Micro's on board processors.
The tunes are slightly punk-influenced ones written when Freakwave was still a band.

A throwaway pop tune about attraction across a dancefloor.  The lyrics tell the story of how I met my wife.  The music tells the story of how I grew up listening to 80s Indie bands, New Wave and Power Pop.

An experienced tunesmith with a background of years and years as lead vocalist and principal songwriter in a number of smalltime Rock/Pop/Alternative semi-pro indie bands. 

My tunes are characterised by a strong sense of melody, although actually I usually build them from the bassline up. 

My influences are mainly Indie rock and pop bands from the Punk era onwards; Echo & Bunnymen, Nirvana, Stone Roses, Primal Scream, Kasabian, Kings Of Leon, Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Black Keys...This list could actually go on for days...
