As summer begins to dwindle and the days become shorter, it’s nice to know that there are still some tunes coming through that will bring a bit of sunshine into your life. Take Roy Green & Protone’s forthcoming EP release, “Jazzypansts”, as one fine example, and coincidentally the next release from the Innerground camp.

Next up is the title track “Jazzypants”. Featuring the strong and unmistakeable sound of an upright bass strung in amongst some staccato beats and a minimal overall sound, this is a quintessential dancefloor killer.

The Jazzypants EP will be available as a three track EP download exclusively from Juno Download from the 6th October.
The two track single will be available everywhere else from the 20th October.

Member of several collectives such as Monochrome association, Ouroboros or atmòs sphaîra, Axymt. is well known for his ability to create an immersive atmosphere during his performances. He always looking for create a ritual for listeners, using his music to guide them on a deep inner journey.

For this new episode, Axymt offers us a deep subaquatic sonic journey, letting us feel invigorated and transformed by fast hypnotic techno rhythms, with envelopping atmospheres and strong attention to minimalist patterns.

For this episode, Axymt invites us to discover Hvergelmir.

In Norse mythology, Hvergelmir is described as a massive spring located in the realm of Niflheim, one of the Nine Worlds. Niflheim is known for its extreme cold and darkness, and Hvergelmir is said to be the coldest and darkest place within it.

Hvergelmir is considered the source of all living waters in the cosmos. It is the origin of eleven rivers called the Élivágar, which flow through Niflheim. These rivers eventually contribute to the creation of the primeval giant Ymir, who is the progenitor of the giants in Norse mythology.

According to some accounts, Hvergelmir is also home to the dragon Níðhöggr, who gnaws at the roots of the world tree Yggdrasil. The water from Hvergelmir is believed to nourish the roots of Yggdrasil, which helps sustain the entire cosmos.

In Norse cosmology, Hvergelmir holds significant importance as one of the primal forces of creation, embodying the concept of primordial chaos and the origin of life-giving waters in the universe.

Today, we’re very pleased to welcome Italian-born, Berlin-based Midgar boss, Severja. Jacopo has been blending art and music for the past two decades. As the founder of Midgar label, he oversees both artist curation and visuals, and he's also part of Monument’s design and booking team.

His journey spans Europe, Asia, and Australia, including a stint in Taipei during the pandemic, and he's gained a reputation for hosting some of Berlin’s most talked-about parties.

For Osmura, he delivers a unique set — starting at 180 BPM and gradually slowing down through ambient and trippy dub techno, before ramping back up with d’n’b and murky steppers.

What’s better than a mix from electronic music royalty Cio D’Or? Two mixes. This week we present something very special, a tale told across two chapters. As a mainstay of techno for over two decades, Cio D'Or has consistently pushed boundaries, gracing the decks of revered institutions worldwide and crafting a legendary discography with releases on Prologue, Semantica, Hypnus, Time to Express and more. 

Across both mixes you will hear Cio’s unparalleled ability for sculpting minimalism and sonic architecture, masterfully recontextualizing familiar and obscure tracks alike, breathing new life into them and unveiling hidden dimensions. She dissects, reassembles and creates intricate connections between disparate sounds, all flawlessly executed with an alchemist’s touch.

Prisma 33 starts at a slower tempo, delicately building into an eruption of psychedelic minimalism. Dada grows with kinetic energy, with Cio sculpting sounds and textures into a deep trip where time seems to bend and dissolve, finishing with an unexpected wildcard that only a master selector could make work.

Next up in our mix series is Rotterdam-based producer, DJ and On Board Music founder Laura BCR - a vital presence both behind the decks and behind the scenes of contemporary electronic music. A former record store co-owner (Bass Cadet Records), booking agent, and head of the On Board agency and label, Laura’s dedication runs deep.

In this mix, Laura invites us into her more contemplative soundscapes, guiding us through a true evolving trip of shimmering synths and sun-kissed rhythms. It's deliberate and elegant - a lesson in patience and depth. As deep and mysterious, as it is warm and gracious. The perfect companion to stretched-out summer days, glowing nights or for inner voyages and golden hour reflections alike.
