Strawberries - Thank you Farmers (July 2018)

This is the very beginning of a song I started to write about Springsteen's music in 2017, which has evolved to include lyrics about Paul Simon and Joni Mitchell. *There is a registered version with these lyrics 4/10/18* I wanted to talk about the lyrics of my favorite singer-songwriters. This was written in my car, as well as the Paul Simon lines, ad-libbed while sitting in my car by the coast. Later, in Florida, I added lines about Joni Mitchell. I eventually changed the lyrics from "Do me tonight" to "Love me tonight" in the later version. This song is part of a book I have been writing.
