College Dropout Records is an American independent record label founded by Jonathon Louthan and Anthony Monteleone. Louthan and Monteleone have both been working within the underground hip-hop music scene for 10 years and both are 24 years of age. However, they did not meet until July 2013. Louthan (from Ohio) and Monteleone (from Virginia) met through a mutual friend, George Smith, who introduced them when Monteleone moved to East Palestine, OH (where Jonathon Louthan and George Smith were born and raised). After meeting they decided that they could achieve more by working together. Monteleone is a song writer, recording artist and live performer. Louthan is a graphic designer, video editor, and audio engineer. Together they decided to form College Dropout Records.
