It seems like we are all in constant search of the "Good Life." Between work, family, and bills, life can get hectic and it is easy to get lost in the shuffle. Sometimes it's necessary to step back, take some time for yourself, let loose and appreciate what you have. Creating music has always been an outlet for me to express myself and free up. I hope this song and my music can be an escape for you as well.

"Good Life" and most of the album were produced by my good friend and one of my favorite producers of all time Supa Dups. Not only has he produced some of my best tracks ("Blind To You Haters," "Tomorrows Another Day," "Sensimilla") but he is also responsible for some huge recent hits: Drake "Controlla," Drake ft. Rihanna "Too Good."

My new album is called Good Life and it is now available for pre-order on my website colliebuddz.com. The album will be released worldwide on May 19th! This is my first independent release and being fully hands on in all aspects of the process has been amazing. Good Life as an album is a reflection of my life the last 10 years. Ultimately it is about perspective, perseverance and working towards a solution.

I have been blessed with the best fans in the world who have supported me for years and been patiently waiting for new music. I'm really excited to unveil this project to them and I'm already working on the next one.

The timely track “The Beginning of Time” by Eesah, Capleton & Lutan Fyah released around the official start of the decade according to the “New Style Calendar”.

A tribute to H.I.M. Haile Selassie (Power of the Trinity), recognized globally as a direct descendent of King Solomon & The Queen of Sheba. In 1930 crowned in Ethiopia with the extraordinary titles of Kings of Kings, Lord of Lords, Light of Saba, the Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

Members of the Rastafari movement & international recording artists Eesah, Capleton & Lutan Fyah deliver this message magnificently. From intro Eesah, the music industry veteran that is taking everyone by surprise, delivers in a mystical style. Colin Patrick Harper hails from the Bermuda Islands. In the music industry, he is known as the reggae artist Collie Buddz. Buddz was born on August 21, 1984 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, he attended Full Sail University in Orlando, FL, where he decided to study studio engineering.  Upon graduating from college in 2006, Buddz began looking for work in the recording industry as a performer or producer. One of his first major gigs was working with recording star Shaggy on the single "Mad Mad World" from Shaggy's new album entitled Intoxication, which was release in 2007. That was the same year he released his self-titled debut album with Sony Music. The album was a moderate success, but well-received by critics.  WWE (World Wrestling Enterprises) fans would immediately recognize Buddz's voice from the entrance theme ("SOS") for WWE superstar wrestler Kofi Kingston, which was included on the 2008 compilation WWE The Music, Vol. 8. Over the next year, he would continue making guest appearances on the works of other artists.  It is no small coincidence that his stage name "Buddz" is slang for marijuana. There have been photographs taken of the artist holding bongs and other pot-smoking paraphernalia over the years. Of course, other reggae artist such as Bob Marley have made weed seem an essential part of the reggae lifestyle.  At the end of the decade, Buddz started his own record label called Harper Digital. When not working in the studio, he found himself selling out venue after venue on one of his many exhaustive tours. In 2011, he would finally release his second album entitled Playback. As was the case with the first album, this album was a modest success commercially, but the critics loved his work.  With a couple of albums and a good reputation under his belt, Buddz is a frequent performer at many of the major reggae festivals around the world.
