The 50th episode of our Disco Suicide mix series is by Danish producer and DJ Jesper Mygind aka C.M. Art (@jespermygind) who just put out his debut album ‘Planet Uthboar’, inaugurating his new Uthboar imprint.

Uthboar is being launched to showcase another side of the club music coming out of Copenhagen where Mygind is based, more lo-fi, slower and a bit more experimental, with Planet Uthboar dropping as the first release.

Jesper tells us ‘’I’m very inspired by the whole cassette culture from the late 80’s where mainly experimental artists with a do-it-yourself approach recorded music in their living room and simply released it on tape to the cassette community. For me this shows that music doesn’t have to be that serious and ‘perfect’ all the time, and that you can record interesting music right out of your living room on crappy gear.’’
