Simo Lorenz’ “Megalod EX” Project took the better part of two years to come to completion, with all tracks going through various iterations until they met his exacting requirements. “Megalod EX 1” is a foreboding ambience of things to come, next “Megalod EX 2” showcases Lorenz’ signature hypnotic groove and finally “Megalod EX 4” trips out on ferocious hihats and driving synth lines. Luis Flores reworks “Megalod EX 2” into a relentless tool with industrial undertones while HOURS delivers a gritty take featuring a pulsating bassline and unrelenting percussion.

Shibiza Recordings is the only Tehran based independent label founded by DJ Ferry in 2012. Inspired by many famous Persians such as Dubfire, Pleasurekraft, Sharam, Omid 16B, Namito, Behrouz, Nima Gorji, Sharam Jey,... the new label will focus on Iranian artists around the world, showing their innate talent for music despite being suppressed by a closed society. The word „Shibiza“ stems from the two places „Shemshak“ in Iran and the famous „Ibiza“, two places with paradoxical demographics, but an even sensation for house music.
