Raised in Kisumu he has lived in Nairobi and currently based in Sheffield United Kingdom, Colly is a rising star among a group of young Africans blending spiritual and inspirational lyrics with solid, urban beats and vocals. 

His influences lie in his upbringing - listening to African traditional sounds like Rhumba and Lingala as well as Hip hop, reggae and blues.

As a producer, Colly adds production expertise to a mix of genres including afrobeat, reggae, R&B and hip hop.
