Well, this is different. I have never done a remix of a song to this extent. ever. I am personally very proud of this. Take it for what it is :D CAUSE ITS AWESOME! 

BTW If you are interested, it alternates between 7/8 and 8/8 every other measure for pretty much the whole song... it was actually quite difficult to play my damn piano part to this XD but I got it down and it sounds really friggin cool!

As for being an anime based story, the music is very Japanese influenced. I took inspiration from Studio Ghibli's Joe Hisaishi (music for "Spirited Away", "Howl's Moving Castle", etc...) as well as Yusonori Mitsuda (music for Chrono trigger/Chrono Cross) when I began creating the melody. I thought of Inariku and Tunari as more witful characters in his story, thus the creation of the Japanese Folk sounding section in the beginning. Xriah has more of a deeper feeling when it comes to life. Her theme seemed to have more of a darker, thought provoking sound. I was also requested to create a larger role with the piano, though I only used piano with Xriah's theme as I felt that it suited her more. 

This is by far the most extensive piece I have ever worked on. I had a ton of fun with it.

Commission: Inariku/Tunari and Inari's Theme

This piece actually expresses me even more now than it did when I first made it. I was actually kicked out of my house yesterday. Surprising right? But it's the willingness to fight, the anger I felt, the betrayal-- and then, the slightest glimmer of hope. How, in the end, I'm ok. I am me, and that is the greatest accomplishment; To be yourself in the way you write, the way you talk, even the way you walk. It's you, and nobody else.

Enough cheesy motivational slur's. You all get the point... I hope. Anyways I hope you all enjoy this piece. It was a a challenge to have it all fit into a minute, but I think I did a pretty good job. 

Los Three Caballeros

Cathedral is a bit of an odd Pouch Dragon. After her egg wound up in a Catholic monastery, she was raised by the monks who lived there. In the time she spent with them she learned many things including alchemy, astronomy, illumination, and music. She also picked up some knowledge of brewing. Her favorite monk, mentor, and friend, Cain, helped her to identify some of the stranger and more obscure things she collected. She obsessively collects things with what she calls, "The Divine Spark." Things created with a spark of divine inspiration and things that inspire her in this way. She prefers to charm others or barter for objects before resorting to stealing, and will often tell wondrous stories of her travels in exchange for what she has her eye on. Though perhaps the oddest thing about her is that she is one of the few pouch dragons to ever fall in love. This could be from growing up with and living alongside humans and their ideas of love, though it may be due to the fact that Lily could not fit or stay in her pouch. She found Lily by following the sound of her singing, and has hardly let her out of her sight since.

OH! ~ Ft. NiaHyena

Born the eldest son and heir to a noble house, Josh was always pushed to be the best possible candidate for his family name. His life was hard, living always to impress his own family and others with talents he did not naturally possess. Making friends was hard, since Josh didn't enjoy the company of other noble children. Always turning to the servants for friendship, he often found they didn't trust him. That was until he started stealing things to earn their favour. Before long, the more cunning of the servants had trained Josh to get in and out of places without being noticed and to use his noble name if were ever caught.

It was clear to his parents, once he came of age, that he was not the son they had always hoped for, instead favouring his younger brother as the heir. All that stood in the way was Josh's life, as by law he would always be the heir, regardless of his wishes or actions. After overhearing his parents discussing the hiring of an assassin to kill him, Josh saw his opportunity to escape the life he'd hated for good. Using his criminal connections he pulled some strings to have his assassination faked. Pledging himself to the life of a wandering bard.
