The title track of my new 2025 album of original instrumentals was originally written in 1980 as a free-form lyrical melody designed to accompany a long-lost poem by Cindy Beckett, and has evolved into a longer effort with added chapters, culminating in a finale whose soaring melody and poignant chords evoke a sense of hope and renewal, a fitting tribute to the power of the human spirit to persevere in the face of adversity.

Shining Light

Colman Jones is a Canadian composer, pianist and visual artist, who enjoys interacting and collaborating with other creative souls.. His work is all over the map musically, from soft ambient pieces to more conventional pop/rock tracks, and some pretty strange electronic sounds as well.
