Money is the debut single from Colm Donnelly. Its a rock song with some hip hop influence about financial stress. Colm chose this an opening single as it was so far removed from his former bands sound. This song represents a new freedom of expression from the singer who isn't afraid to try new styles.

The song has Colm's trademark wit and humor, however and a pop sensibility with a sing along chorus.

Probably my most pop track I've ever done. we used some drum machines on this track taking inspiration from The Gorlliaz' Skinny Ape. 
I also added several harmonies to try and create a melodic wall of sound. 
Inspired by a friend lyrically. I hope you enjoy. 

Dance With Me

An early country influenced rock n roll song inspired by Johnny Cash type stories that I perform live in covers gigs. 
The song tells a story about the poor parenting, cycles of drug abuse and the dangers of try now, pay later deals. 

I tried to steer clear of 12 bar blues riffs to give it a modern twist with more Alt Rock guitars instead. 

Dead Man Walking

Colm Donnelly was born and raised in Belfast but moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2016. 
The Irish singer fronted The Sass in Belfast and Bute Street in Vancouver and recorded dozens of songs with them outfits. 
He became a solo Artist in 2023 recording his first 3 songs at Park Sound Studio, North Vancouver. 
His debut single is called Money and it is a departure from the indie sound of his former bands.
