Vol #8 of Soundcloud Sunday is from Glasgow based DJ, MUNTR. At 20 years old. MUNTR has been DJing for around 18 months and has already seen his name included in events at Room2 and Club 69 in 2024.  A MUNTR set always consists of high energy hard techno, psytrance and schranz and this one is no different, as well as some throwback tracks filled with euphoria and added hard kicks. Balrog is a producer and DJ from the UK.

Hailing from the Yorkshire Dales just outside of Leeds, Balrog has supplanted himself in the darker and grittier side of industrial techno with a focus on heavy unrelenting drums, driving bass and obscure distorted vocal. His tracks look back to the classic hard and grooving techno of the early 2000's, but with a fresh injection of modern industrial power.

This young producer has gone from strength to strength over the last few years with multiple releases on exciting techno labels including The Meaning Of Rave, COUP, Green Fetish, Taro, Blacklapse, Måinmise, Archivio 01 and Gobsmacked. These releases and unreleased tracks have received support from some of the biggest in the scene including Dax J, Rebekah, Paula Temple, Stephanie Sykes, Manni Dee, Gijensu, Tham, SHDW & Obscure Shape, Dahryl and many more.

Balrog also runs his own record label, Khazad Records, which releases music from the very best industrial and hard techno talent around.

When he discovered techno at the age of 17 years old, it began to be an important part of his life.
