I have a lot of stuff in the works, but I also want to share cool moments like this with y'all.

Hey guys, this is the first release in my new album "World in Color". Every two weeks for the next 4 months you'll hear a new track from me :)

Overall this album is inspired from @jetomoosic, @madeon, @porter-robinson, and @haywyre <3 I love all of you and thank you for making music/changing the direction of my life

This track is meant to start the journey that I've created with the World in Color album. There are songs of varying energy and meaning throughout that convey a message that I couldn't possibly do with words. I hope you all become as invested in this as I am and enjoy the upcoming tracks over the coming months.

Hey guys, this is the second release in my new album "World in Color". I’m really excited to show you guys the first song on the album with vocals. There are many more tracks on the album with extremely talented vocalists, including Gillian to come. 

This track is meant to be introspective and focused around finding who you are. There have been many revisions to the lyrics, because Gillian and I did not know how to convey the message that I wanted to give to y’all through this track, but I feel these lyrics are meaningful and relatable to things that everyone goes through in their own mind. 

People changing like the wind to make themselves feel better or “sound”. Feeling like you are not as good or talented as all of the people surrounding you only to be redeemed by the fact that the good things you do define you and make you who you are. We will always grow as people and come out of the other side in a better place, but in the meantime, finding solace, understanding of your situation, and not blaming yourself is important to survive and grow as people.

Hey guys, I’m really excited to release the title track of my album “World in Color” for y’all to hear. The first three songs of the album start the journey and the intention behind the music I want to create. Onset starts with an epic explosion of color, bringing you into the start of the journey and the pure confidence and inspiration that carries you through the creative process. Heartbeat then focuses on the introspective self doubt and self awareness to then become yourself through realizing that acceptance of who you are is the key to happiness. 

This song, World in Color, is the outcome of this realization in Heartbeat. Without many of the things that hold you back, you are free to create in such a way that there are no limits. It’s such a valuable feeling and I hope that this song causes you guys to feel the inspiration that I felt when producing and perfecting it.

The boi @jetomoosic deserves an extra special thanks in this song because of the mindset I was in when I created it. The day before I created this song, I was doubting my production skills, the future of my music, and if I wanted to keep doing it. Soon after jeto sent me two midi compositions, one of which ended up being this song. Something about knowing that there was intention behind what he created and that he was willing to send it to me sparked the onset of the creative flow towards the creation of this song. It really is valuable to have supportive friends around me to keep me in line.

I’m really happy with the positive response from the first three songs of the album and I am a lil extra excited to show you guys this 4th track. The first three songs were very explosive and electronic in a way that encompasses my inspirations in EDM, but many of my musical origins and inspirations are in funk. This song was really smooth in the composition and production side and it was really fun to utilize my background as a drummer, guitarist, and pianist to give you guys a more performance based song. 
 
This song, I feel, is a pivot from the original direction of the album and the following songs although they will be similar to my normal style, they will emphasize that I want to be diverse in the energy and message that my music conveys. 
 
When I first started creating this track, I actually borrowed Mitchell’s American Stratocaster and came up with the initial riff. After that was down, I knew that I wanted to create a full track out of it and I asked Mitch if he also wanted to do the vocals on it. Was a pleasure working with him and the lyrics definitely have meaning behind the story of the album. As we grow up we lose that grasp on the “weightless peace of mind” and it ends up being the thing that most adults chase. In order to create something worth investing in and causing a reaction in others, you need to be genuine with your art and be true to yourself. 
 
I hope y’all enjoy the track and Thanks for supporting me thus far. Only more cool tracks to come!

Special thanks to Mitchell for being a good sport during the grueling recording sessions we had. This was one of the hardest songs on the album to record vocals for because we wanted them to be perfect, but we managed to pull it all together and get something worth showing y’all. Also thanks to him for letting me use his guitar. I ended up buying the same model guitar about 4 months later after creating this song because of the huge potential that lies within the instrument. Can’t wait to make future tracks with it and step up my musical game!
 
As usual gotta thank the boi @jetomoosic for help on the mix and master. Being able to have that lil magic added to the mix makes it so much more enjoyable for everyone to hear and I’m really glad that I don’t have to be anxious that I’m not presenting my music in the best possible way for you guys.

This song is about growing up and learning about the world. 
 
It has been amazing to show you guys the first 5 songs on the album over the last few months. This marks a little over the halfway point of song releases and I’m really excited for you guys to hear the direction I take as the album progresses further. I pulled a little bit of a pivot on you guys with Electric sky and but then combined the electronic nature of the first three songs and the funk of electric sky to bring you this indie dance electronic vibe. 
 
I lost hope in this song for a while and debated taking it off the album many times, but enough grind can really make the difference, no matter how disheartening it can be sometimes. I want to show you guys the real intention behind me as an artist and I hope that as the styles evolve throughout the course of the album you guys follow the journey with me. 
 
The lyrics in this song are some of my favorite on the album and I could not have done it without the amazing @resting_tofu

This was a really fun and inspiring song to make. After watching some aesthetic anime and boolin with the bois, everything felt right in the world. This song is heavily inspired from one of my best homies @jetomoosic. 

This song reminds me of the times you look back on that you’re in turn constantly chasing. Since I started to create music I’ve learned a lot about my mindset and what it takes to maintain happiness while also pushing yourself to be the best you can. It’s a hard balance because with feelings of inadequacy, comes a low. 

It's been really cool to continue the story of this album with the art and music. If you guys want a full commentary at the end of the album, I'd be happy to make it. I've been generally leaving the specifics of the story up to interpretation though :) 
 
Super appreciative of all the friends I’ve made while posting this album and especially thankful to the squad.

One more track on the album. Thanks for coming this far with me everyone <3 

Cascade is the first song that was started for the album. It holds a special energy for me of a clearer headspace and a world opening in front of me as I started to see how much musical expression and potential can be in music. 

This song gives me feelings of nostalgia and the acceptance of whatever is going to happen, happens. Throughout the story of this album, there has been a story in my head, starting with Onset. In Onset, this huge world changing event starts to happen. For me, In the second drop of cascade, the culmination of this event is completed and we are towards the end of this story I’ve had the pleasure of telling you through music. 
 
As I’ve worked on this album, I have improved as a musician and producer, causing me to want to “level up” all the tracks as I finalize them. This was an especially hard track to finalize because I wanted to keep the initial intention and expression completely genuine, but also present it in a way that is consistent with my previous work. 
 
Special thanks to @jetomoosic . Jeto is one of the most talented homies I’ve ever met, but that don’t change the fact that he still a lil bih too. Love you brotha and appreciate everything you’ve helped me with as this album has progressed. Jeto did the mix and master on this track, really helping me present it to its fullest. thx bruv

Here's my remix of @madeon's AMF! The original has a bit of a melancholy and introspective vibe, so I decided to go with something unmistakably happy and uplifting to give a different experience. 

I'm so glad to be able to share this with the world finally. There were a lot of ups and downs throughout the creation of this track and it was a realy intimidating track to remix, but it was definitely worth the effort.

recorded real bass and guitar on it, which was a really fun experience although frustrating at times :P
