Un duo intime sur un répertoire de compositions personnelles et de reprises de titres gorgés de soul music (Al Jarreau, Jimmy Hendrix…).

Si le chanteur belge David Linx est installé en France depuis près de 20 ans, il reste bruxellois de cœur et c’est en toute amitié qu’il a eu envie de préparer un nouveau répertoire avec son compatriote Michel Haztigeorgiou, formidable bassiste électrique, connu pour être l’un des membres du fameux groupe Aka Moon et accompagnateur des plus grands jazzmens (Toots Thielmans, Mike Stern, Philippe Catherine…).

Vocaliste unique en son genre, David Linx a reçu récemment le prix Octave d’Honneur en Belgique pour l’ensemble de sa carrière, le Prix Edison pour le meilleur album de l’année 2017 (« Brel » avec le Brussels Jazz Orchestra). Il a été de nombreuses fois récompensé en France : Prix Charles Cros, Prix de l’Académie du Jazz.

Even if the Belgian singer David Linx has been living in France for almost 20 years, he is still from Brussels and he has been developping a new repertoire with his compatriot Michel Haztigeorgiou, a fantastic electric bassist, member of the famous group Aka Moon and sideman of the greatest jazzmen (Toots Thielmans, Mike Stern, Philippe Catherine ...).

David Linx is a very unique vocalist, he was recently awarded with Octave Award of Honor in Belgium for his entire career, and the Edison Award for best album of the year 2017 ("Brel" with the Brussels Jazz Orchestra). He has been awarded many times before, in France: Charles Cros Prize, Academy of Jazz Award.
