The opening track, “Waves”, is a collaboration with Different Stage, blending warm, organic textures with flowing, rhythmic energy. Canadian producer Dezza makes a return to the Colorize imprint with a beautifully deep 2-track EP 'Need U / Pure Love'.

Becoming increasingly prevalent within the Deep/Progressive scene's thanks to a number of stellar releases, Dezza brings his sublime, atmospheric sound back to Colorize. Opening with 'Need U', Dezza forms remarkable depth around a rippling, cosmic lead and drifting vocals to create an incredibly warm groover to open the EP.

Closing the EP with 'Pure Love' Dezza crafts an equally atmospheric journey filled with cavernous synth leads, cosmic FX and crisp pads in a effortlessly grooving finale to an overall superbly polished EP.

The second single from the album, "Coastal Glow," features a mellifluous blend of beachside natural effects, Balearic guitar licks, and heavenly vocal stabs, all soaring above an uplifting progressive groove. Blood Groove & Kikis and Gregory Esayan, fellow label residents and internationally acclaimed talents in their own right, lend their tremendous talents on remix detail. 

Legendary Latvian duo Blood Groove & Kikis offer a euphoric, peak-hour 'Rework,' featuring a completely reimagined melodic arrangement. Specifically, their take centers on hallucinogenic synths and rapturous pads. After a day on the storied beaches of Ibiza, to which the original mix would offer the perfect soundtrack, Blood Groove & Kikis provide an equally appropriate anthem for those fabled Ibiza evenings.

David Broaders, whose past contributions to Silk are often cited by our fans as personal favorites, makes a triumphant return to our imprint: his rendering is profound and unforgettable. A steady progressive house groove is joined by a suspenseful atmosphere, distinguished by haunting pads and distant echoes of the original vocals. A breathtaking moment occurs at the beginning of the main breakdown: the ominous soundscape "lifts" and is replaced by a hopeful and uplifting new lead theme. Originally part of the successful "Summer Particles 2018" compilation, Trilucid and Phil Martyn found success with "Gone". Now featuring as a full release, the original track is joined by remixes from Brazilian and French artists.

A growing artist with a passion for "awakening evolving minds", Demitros and sometime collaboration partner, Dante Pippi, are rising stars in the Brazilian underground dance scene. Bursting onto the scene in December 2016 with "Demogorgon" for The Alien Gate, Demitros has since gone on to feature heavily for Particles. July 2017 marked a debut for the label with the twin-track "Cosmos", while February 2018 saw the outstanding "Quantum Tunneling" with high profile remixes from Kastis Torrau and Nicolas Rada that then saw the track featured in the Visceral compilation series. 

Joining forces with fellow countryman Dante Pippi in November 2018, "When You Get There" saw two new original productions combined with remixes from Pole Folder and Imran Khan. An August 2018 remix of Pole Folder himself is now joined by a superb reworking of "Gone" as Demitros and Dante Pippi take the elements from the original and shape them in new musical directions that sparkle with new musical riffs and counterpoint melody. A driving beat and strong percussion give further depth to an impressive new reworking.

French star, Rick Pier O'Neil, needs no introduction to the underground music fraternity. An iconic figure whose illustrious career has seen him work with such household names as Donna Summer and Stevie Wonder for the likes of Sony Music and Motown, his entrance into the world of progressive house has seen the Frenchman amass over 1000 production credits. Under the umbrella of his own RPO and Garbage Records, several hundred tracks have enlightened a growing fanbase with a distinctive and successful sound that has seen his work featured on the likes of Bonzai Progressive, JOOF and Clubsonica Records. The expertly curated "One Side of the Underground" series has seen Rick Pier O'Neil make his mark on Proton Music, while his work for Particles has seen a clutch of releases in collaboration with Desaturate.

Thus, September 2015's "Spirals" and July 2016's "Crouch / Cursed" EPs have kept O'Neil at the forefront of the scene with remixes of Kastis Torrau and Donatello and Nicolas Rada showcasing his genuine skill as a remixer. Taking on "Gone", the Rick Pier O'Neil remix is an expertly crafted affair that creates a link with the original through a dark and driving bassline that provides a menacing touch. Clever melodic touches light up the pulsating rhythmic framework hinting at the phrasing laid down by Trilucid and Phil Martyn and extended by a raft of immaculate additional production material. The result is another Rick Pier O'Neil masterstroke.

Remixes from Demitros and Dante Pippi and Rick Pier O'Neil find "Gone" very much part of the here and now.

The first in an annual series of exciting compilations, this is a landmark release for the label who recruits leading artists Matt Fax and Dezza for two thrilling mixes that feature 35 exclusive tracks showcasing the most exciting acts in Progressive, Deep and Melodic House.

On Colorscapes Volume One, Matt Fax and Dezza bring together established Colorize names like PRAANA, Andre Sobota, Anden, Sound Quelle, Boxer, Hexlogic and Milkwish with exciting label newcomers like Pete K, Murtagh, Rylan Taggart, farfetch'd, Andromedha and Tripswitch. Matt Fax brings two electrifying remixes to the compilation with 2005 techno sensation 'Rej' by German act Âme and British DJ/Producer D.O.D.'s 2018 house hit 'Glow' getting reworked in remarkable fashion. The mixes build and swell organically with both DJs flexing their talents effortlessly, creating two exhilarating mixes that will take you on a voyage into the deep and progressive.

With Matt Fax and Dezza reaching new heights as artists and becoming concrete names in the world of Progressive House, this compilation comes at an exciting time for Colorize. Since his first release on the label in 2013, Matt Fax has seen immense growth as a producer through releasing impressive, genre-expanding singles and his debut artist album Contrast in 2017, and as a DJ having played a run of shows from Europe to Asia in 2019 as well as the Progressive Stage at Electronic Family in the Netherlands. Canadian DJ/Producer Dezza has also had a whirlwind of a year, releasing his debut artist album Cosmos, a tour of Australia, ASOT900 and then playing at the Budlight Dreams festival in Toronto in June. The two artists also headlined a sold-out show at London's Oval Space in July for the first Colorize event.

Colorscapes Volume One will be supported by a launch party at London's renowned venue Egg on the 22nd of September which will see Matt Fax and Dezza headline with support from Amy Wiles, Boxer, Sound Quelle and Steve Brian pres. Cabriolet Paris. An official label event will also be held in October during Amsterdam Dance Event, followed by a North American co-headline tour from Matt Fax and Dezza that will feature other prominent Colorize artists.
