ColorKaleido - Light and Colorful Soundsphere

Simple but grandiose. Straightforward, yet crooked. Fresh but somehow familiar. It's ColorKaleido - one of the latest bands to transcend the danish alternative pop scene.

Although having released their debut EP recently, this is no debut for the two members of the band. Lead vocalist Christine Milton had her first hit Superstar in Denmark in 2004, when she was only 17, and male part Kim Vagn Wagner starred in many danish acts including the 2010 Danish Radio P3 award finalist Lastbandalive.

The duo go back years as friends, but it wasn't until the summer of 2011 that the musical sparks and flickering lights starting buzzing.
ColorKaleido was born, and in spite of the young age they've already developed a completely new sound, broad appealing but crooked enough to fill a void.

Their first single is the grandiose yet feather light indie pop track "Like a Rainbow". It is a mix of purely condensed musical energy, contrasting voluminous vocals retaining airy simplicity. An explosion of love and pure joy, that makes it hard not to play along with its unpretentiousness and honesty.

Along with the single comes the video for "Like a Rainbow", produced and edited by Mads Jeppesen of Mifune Film, who has worked with other major danish acts in the past.

During the summer and fall of 2012 ColorKaleido has performed at various venues and festivals in Denmark and released their debut-EP. The duo is now working on a debut album.
