For their seventh release, Hidden Harmony proudly presents the debut album of LONG TWINS into the waxen sonic
wonderland for your full listening pleasure.

 ‘Everyone In Water’ by KV Hopper and Elizabeth LoPiccolo duo is a collection of delicate avant-pop songs that occupy liminal space between sophisticated songwriting and the eternal charms of warm
modular arpeggios, the brilliant voice and flute sonority and blue-sky psychedelia of sequencers, generators and filters, the
merging compositional prowess and experimentation with pop sensibility. ‘Everyone In Water’ deals with lyrical themes
centered around the sense of place and everyday rituals which curve out into an incredibly serene peak of new sincerity.
The thirteen songs on the album are a transcendental amalgamation of avant and pop traditions and of organic and
electronic compositional structures - an entire universe of a record blessed with its own beautifully bizarre logic.

KV Hopper is a musician and product designer living in Portland, OR. Originally from El Paso, Texas, during the mid-90’s
he helped form punk group, At The Drive-in and appeared on the first two releases (Hell Paso and Alfaro Vive Carajo). In
2001 he moved to San Francisco and created an instrumental prog-band, Crime in Choir (featuring Death Grips drummer,
Zach Hill, synthesist, Jonas Reinhardt and other contributing artists). In 2019, he began a studio project, Long Twins with
collaborations from guitarist, Phil Manely (Trans Am and Life Coach); vocalist, Meryl Press; percussionist, Warren Huegel
(Damo Suzuki’s Network); and vocalist, flutist, Elizabeth LoPiccolo.
Elizabeth LoPiccolo is a musician, film photographer, and performer living in Brooklyn, New York. She has been a member
of Xhoir (an offshoot of Colin Self’s Xoir), a contributor to the music and performances of Ziemba (René Kladzyk, who takes
her band name from her grandmother’s maiden name) and a longtime collaborator with her husband, Rhys Ziemba (no
relation to René Kladzyk, just pure coincidence!) Most recently Elizabeth has been a contributor of vocals, lyrics, and flute
arrangements to the experimental synth tapestries of Long Twins.

Hathor is the Mother Earth. Daughter of supreme Re, she was with him when the Solar Disc rose from the Sea of Chaos in the beginning of all time. She was one of the most ancient and revered goddesses in Ancient Egypt. She was the beloved wife, the faithful daughter, but a woman above all. She meant beauty and love, fertility and marriage. Depicted as a cow, she was the guardian of children and couples; as a horn-headed gorgeous woman she was the mistress of dance, music and joy, fond of partying and feasting, celebrating and preserving life.

However, she also had a dark grim side, when she was summoned to execute the wrath of Re. Then, the cow turned into a blood-thirsty lioness, Hathor become Sekhmet and the Wrath of Re descended upon Mankind. As Sekhmet tasted the human blood, she got drunk on the destruction and slaughter. The sun became red as the land was devastated and every living creature fell under Sehkmet’s claws. Re, horrified before her rage, tried to summon her back to stop the ordeal. But Sekhmet was completely blind and deaf to reason, so drunk on the blood that she did not listen to his father.

Thus, Re ordered to brew beer and mix it with pomegranate, to resemble blood; and mandrake, to ease the rage and make her sleep. When Sekhmet saw the crimson beer, she thought it was blood and drank it all at once. Gulp after gulp, the red beverage began to numb the lioness mind until she fell down asleep. The Wrath of Re was halted.

The beer calmed the rage, and the terrible lioness became the lovely cow again, saving the Mankind from a dreadful end. The piety of Re was thanked and a Yearly Festival was celebrated with huge amounts of beer to commemorate the Peace of Hathor from then on.

@Marco_shuttle first caught our ear many years ago when we discovered his music the old fashioned way, picking up his Clone Store Only Series record at Halcyon in Brooklyn. This mysterious record led to becoming obsessed with his incredible, self-released podcasts that were floating around online at the time so we reached out to him and ended up working together to put his Fanfara EP out on our label in 2014, when he was almost unknown in North America. Since then, his music career has grown in leaps and bounds. He’s no longer at his day job in the fashion industry but tours and produces full-time, releasing albums on his own Eerie Records, Donato Dozzy and Neel’s Spazio Disponibile, as well as a string of killer EPs on several respected imprints. His productions and DJ skills have led to repeat bookings at Labyrinth Festival, Berghain, Concrete, Fabric, De School and just about everywhere else around the world where discerning heads congregate to hear great techno. 

When Marco was in Brooklyn to play an 8 hour set at The Bunker Limited earlier this year he played some new demos that stuck out as something exceptional, even by his very high standards, and we knew we had his next record on The Bunker New York ready to go. We’re psyched to present these intricate and detailed jams for your enjoyment in foggy dance floor corners. These tracks all have that unmistakable Marco Shuttle vibe with plenty of deliberate, slightly twisting melodies, shadowy disembodied echoing vocals courtesy of @gabriellavergilov that let your brain fill in the meaning, underpinned with punches of tautly layered rhythms.

The Italian producer @Marco_Shuttle releases an EP with @TheBunkerNY label. The Moon Chant EP is a combination of  three hypnotising and dance-floor-friendly tracks, all of them having Shuttle's recogniseable and unique touch.
