The elusive and prestigious duo composed of Listed veterans Bilaliwood and Rambo Springsteen, known affectionately to only the most in-the-know underground circles as 'Brownish', delivered a groovy and driving genre-spanning mix that kept the Tavern's fire burning into the new year.

In the artists' own words:
"They say that 'there is no place like home'.  And they are right.  On New Year's Day 2020, we had an opportunity to play the illustrious Gunita’s Tavern, that tiny sweatbox with killer sound, tucked away somewhere amongst the big stages of the Brooklyn Mirage. It REALLY was a party within a party. It brought close friends and strangers together to celebrate the dawn of a new decade. And the icing on the cake was that two long time friends were playing b2b, bilaliwood & Rambo Springsteen, and as members of the BROWNISH collective (we have the tshirts to prove it!). We had no real gameplan to the start of our year but the name of the game was a little groove & a lot of fun...and that's exactly what we did!  What a morning it was!"

Skilled producer Namatjira makes his return to Worlds Apart after several earlier releases. This time he presents a two-track EP featuring ‘Frozen Lake’ and ‘Amikejo’. Our 18th installment of the mix series is an ode to the slower, yet still just as groovy, tunes that often soundtracked the first few hours of our parties. Staying true to the Ferias sound, the mix bounces between house, disco, jazz and acid, with a few classic remixes thrown in that bring back those vivid opening hours memories.  While the tempo never goes north of 115 bpm, it'll definitely get you grooving as we wait for the day when we can share those pre-midnight, empty dance floor warm-up boogies again. - Sam

Ferias is surrounded by music-heads. We work in the industry, (used to) go dancing too often, spend Sunday mornings in record stores, and fill our messaging threads with the latest jams. Our extended circle shares the same incessant need for musical consumption as we do - It’s rare you’ll find silence around the Ferias duo, for better or worse.

We want to use the platform to display the musical genius of our crew, both on and off the decks, and are ecstatic to present the Ferias mix series in an effort to do just that.
