Cath invited the community on a soft power journey via workshops, gatherings, interviews and a participatory exhibition.

Releasing from the archive a soundtrack mix created for a special performance art show Sensual Distancing curated by @j_eden featuring a range of amazing queer artists sharing intimate lockdown reflections. 

I enjoyed creating this soundtrack mix to flow through performances including a slow ambient start, which transitioned into a reworked blend of FKA Twigs + Headie One 'Don't Judge Me' with Octo Octa 'Come Closer' dancefloor energy.

Colour Carver - Flying Through Silver Caves (liquid bass mix)

Colour Carver is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, broadcaster and colour facilitator from London. Her signature sound is spacious and deep, spanning the bass spectrum from atmospheric drivers to liquid d&b, via sensual electronica, city wave, and leftfield trips. 

True to her name, Colour Carver is a colour expert and founder of Colour Your City, which uses the power of colour to transform space, connect community and ecology, activate agency, support interdisciplinary creativity, and improve wellbeing. She is the creatrix of COLOURWORXX too, a multi-media exploration of colour to enrich life.

Colour Carver has shared sonics on Netil Radio, Threads, Margate Radio and Noods Radio. Played at spaces including Shoreditch Arts Club, The Cause, Grow, Tola and House of Annetta; at events such as HTBX, Riposte and Percolate, and created performance soundtracks for aether studio and Sensual Distancing.
