Colour Color has released its first album! This self-titled 5 song EP was recorded at the legendary Flying Blanket Studios in Mesa, Arizona. For Johnny Simmen and Kyle Sipress, cutting corners in the pursuit of their musical dreams has never been an option. Individually and together, and creatively the two have always put everything possible into developing their chops as songwriters, performers and players without reservation. On The Farther We Go, Colour Color’s first full-length release and follow up to the duo’s 2010 self-titled debut EP, their dedication is clearly evident – A testament to their unwillingness to be anything but completely true to themselves, and an ethic inspired by artists like Circa Survive, Band Of Horses, Radiohead and Death Cab For Cutie. “Bands you can tell are taking risks, writing music because that’s what they’re meant to do and just being themselves,” Simmen says. “That’s what we wanted to do with this record.
