I felt like doing a live take of this song tonight. An old song indeed, recorded on my old Baldwin piano.  It's one of those songs each time I play it something usually different happens, I just feel it and go with it.  I hope this original song resonates with someone.

Here's another love related ballad that I wrote in 2006, around the time when I married my wonderful wife and my best friend Anita!! The lyrics are about how seldom my beautiful wife wears blue, which is my favorite color, but she looks great in all colors! It's another love ballad that wasn't recorded so well, I still had my old 8-track Tascam back then and I think it could have been mixed a whole lot better. I was still tinkering and getting used to the recorder! Charlie sang it perfectly and I double tracked his vocals, he also added some harmonica on the track as well. The video I put together last month and I threw in a lot of eye-candy and special effects at it to enhance it!

 I had forgotten about this song but when I was producing the video for "She Rescues Me" I noticed the song on the CD and did a video for it too! The melody is nice and the lyrics are sweet and it flows ok. Not my best song but it ain't my worst either! Longest song I've ever written. This is a shorter version. I made the intro shorter on this take. I hope you enjoy this live take I did tonight. I haven't played this song in a very long time. It will always be a very special song. The memories shoot through my bones on this one. I'll never forget the moments of writing this, and all the times I played it. I'm so thankful for this song! I give God all the glory for giving me the ability to write this song. I hope it blesses you as much as it's blessed me. I did this live take late last night on my old Baldwin my Grandma gave me. Always nice to get a track down in one take, said a little prayer before. I started writing this back in 2020. It came together years later after combining part of an unfinished song to it. It's amazing how some things work out. We are forever blessed knowing Him! 09 Love Comes Walkin' In

Hey everyone!! All recordings done on my old Baldwin piano that my amazingly talented grandmother gave me.  I'd like to think it holds some magic. All original songs, recorded live. I took a few years of classical lessons when I was very young, great memories, especially the snacks! Throughout the years I'd always tinker on my Mom's old Ludwig piano through passing, playing songs I had learned, like Fur Elise and The Spinning Song, but it wasn't till I was in college when it became an addiction. I was inspired after coming across the song "I Am For You" by Waking Ashland. Lead singer/piano player Jonathan Jones. There was an old upright in the student center that I'd sneak off to late at night, and ever since then the playing has never stopped. What a therapy it has been over the years. God is good! I'm so thankful. I hope to connect with many and make new friends:) Always do what you love! I have such respect for all the talented music on here! Thanks so much for listening!:)
