Rambling

This is an "original" cover blending the lyrics and sounds of two very different, but very influential country artists. The songs are "Hurt" (which was really written by Nine Inch Nails if we want to get technical) and "Electric Skies".

I wrote these lyrics on the time of recording (like if freestyles didn't only apply to rap), with the intentions of it being a confused conversation with the many personalities that inhabit every person, specifically the good and the bad "talking" to each other. For that reason the lyrics may sound confusing... but what inner monologue isn't?

Internal Monologue:

I'm confused but not wrong.
I found with myself with myself and now I feel lost.

So I'm stuck apart and waiting for the inside,
Losing and lazy and saving myself for the flames

Probably some awful shit, 
that I never need to hear the end of. 

So here's the climax, the suffering has reached it's peak

The ending was deceiving and nothing was the truth.

I mostly play acoustic guitar and focus on writing my own music, or trying to create covers that may slightly or drastically differentiate from the original styles of the songs. I also play a little piano, banjo, harmonica, and sing... but not as well as I can play guitar. Half these tracks are some bullshit I recorded on my iPhone. The other half are studio recordings that are actually getting quite close to being a part of a full LP. Regardless, enjoy!
