In this rag I was experimenting more than I usually do (over-the-bar ties, phrases that are fewer or more than four bars long, non-standard structure) in the process I am sure I've broken more than a few rules of classic ragtime). It is still a rag, as much as a platypus is a mammal.

Not gonna lie, pretty down today. But making and sharing music is like exercise or taking a shower: you never regret it and always feel better afterwards. And should be about as habitual. So I showed up, and thought perhaps the thing to do today would be to make something kind of ambient, with irregular loop lengths and a glitchy kind of beat to glue it all together. This one has some promise and I like it quite a bit, but I think the Push is not really the right tool to develop and finish an idea like this. This one is going to the desktop pretty much right away.
