From Lisbon Portugal, the band features influences that range from old school heavy metal to the new streams of dark jazz, surfing variations in rhythm while exploring immersive riffs. Comancho represents the diversity of the urban context and the pool of emotions that float around in our ordinary daily lives.
The 4 member band, composed of João Coelho (vocals), João Chambel (guitars), João Palma (bass guitar) and Afonso Pinto (drums and percussions), was created in 2014 and has since then been slowly cooking up its debut album. They have already recorded 2 studio EPs and performed live extensively - the rock band blooms on stage with its unique vibes and deep connection with the audience.
At the end of the day, there’s a Comancho in every single one of us. And there’s no better way to discover it than through the band’s music.
