Hierophants are from Geelong. They started when Jake from Ausmuteants first moved to Geelong in 2010 and met Zak and Daff from Frowning Clouds. Paris jumped on keys and they started playing in Geelong. Soon afterwards, Jake joined the Clouds on bass, then started Ausmuteants with Billy from Living Eyes, but Hierophants kept playing in Geelong and Melbourne, writing loads of songs, re-writing their whole set, releasing a 7" on Billy's label Anti-Fade,  rewriting their set again, and in 2014, recording 23 songs for their debut LP, Parallax Error. We're releasing it in September, and Aarght are doing it for Australia. Outtakes from the LP have recently been released on 7"s on Goner and Moontown Records.
