Delivering his first single on the label in five years, following a series of outings on the label's annual VA series, the Solid Grooves favourite makes his long-awaited return on 22nd March 2024, building on releases via Crosstown Rebels and his own CRZ and MÜSE imprints.

When it comes to the global house and techno landscape, very few individuals had a busier 2023 than Spanish DJ/producer and label boss Dennis Cruz. Following on from an action-packed twelve months, with highlights ranging from his Coachella debut through to regular appearances at the likes of Club Space (Miami), Hï (Ibiza) and fabric (London), coupled with a vital role at the helm of Solid Grooves' lauded DC10 Casino Motel residency alongside label co-founder PAWSA, the label favourite is back on Solid Grooves Records with his first standalone single on the label since 2019 - showcasing his trademark, groove-driven sound in full with his latest offering, 'Bonito'.

Drenched in Latin and Salsa flavours and sonics, with vibrant brass melodies ebbing and flowing amongst playful and hooky vocal interludes, all layered above signature crisp and rolling drums, 'Bonito' is a perfect example of Cruz's impeccable house sound and welcomes the arrival of a heavily-requested ID from his sets on a fitting return to his 'home away from home', Solid Grooves.

The time has finally come for the boss of the much charted, often played Suara label to serve up a debut solo EP all of his own. Full of sexy Latin grooves, it has already picked up plenty of plays from top tech house DJs everywhere and "Belize" is quite possibly going to be one of the Ibiza summer anthems of the year. Said track pairs shuffling drums with plenty of little sonic details and lush melodies to come over like a South American tech house tune ripe for the dancefloor. It’s humid and sweaty with plenty of human voices and weird what sound like monkey noises all nestled in the grooves. "Aruba" is just as complex with many percussive lines weaving in and out of warm, diving drums and basslines.  Excited crowd noises add some charm and jazzy little keys really bring a sunshine element toward the end. A fell good track, for sure. The final track is another original, "Santiaguito’"but this one goes a little deeper and further into techno territory. Taught basslines and free roaming synths canter along, constantly melting into one another and working hard at hypnotising you and melting your mind. Founded earlier this year, elrow Limited was created as a sister label to elrow Music in order to explore a rawer, minimal sound with a focus on undiscovered talents and upcoming stars. Their fourth release channels this ethos, bringing attention to upcoming Chilean DJ and producer Nico Ferrada. Teaming up with him is established elrow resident De la Swing, who's been at the core of the label's family since debuting on it back in 2012, not to mention releasing on respected labels like Kaluki and Circus Recordings.

'Together' combines a deep bass groove with soulful chords, twinkling effects and delicate vocals. Next up, 'Fireworks' takes a darker approach with a meandering lead and shuffling percussion, laying the foundation for high pitched zaps and beeps as vocals operate throughout.
