Drawing influence from the progressive pioneers, Buenos Aires native Mariano Mellino has built an extensive back catalogue of heaters across an awe-inspiring selection of labels including Balance, Sudbeat and Hope Recordings. Currently in the midst of a south american tour, his incendiary sets are finding fans new and old standing together.

In original form, 'El Beso De La Luna' is an upbeat airy soundscape track with bags of personality and creativity that quickly earworms into your subconscious for days. Evocative and highly emotionally charged its peak Mellino as only he can do. The Deep Mix shows Mariano's darker, percussive side to perfection.

Dubby and hypnotic, it works just as well on early floors as it does at 6am as the sun rises on the rave faithful locked into the groove with shamanic intent. Label heads D-Nox & Beckers add their own unique teutonic charm on the remix, emphasising the bassline and reimaginiing the hooky arps more electronic creating a wildly contrasting feel that mirrors their good friends original idea to perfection.'

Founded by Da Luka and Jorgio Kioris, roku arrives in grand fashion with a much-anticipated single from Da Luka and Aman Anand. Hailing from Albania, Da Luka emerged from his country’s electronic music landscape a decade ago. Whether operating in solo capacity or alongside frequent production partner Jorgio Kioris, Da Luka’s creative vision would summon the praise of progressive music tastemakers Cid Inc, Guy J, Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and more, in turn leading to releases via Droid9, Juicebox Music, Movement Recordings and WARPP. Meanwhile, Indian born, Singapore based artist Aman Anand has enjoyed similar success across his eleven-year career. With a cutting-edge style, Aman has become beloved within the progressive music spectrum, recording standout projects for Juicebox Music, Mango Alley and Sudbeat, while also earning play and support from the genre’s elite guard in Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now, for roku’s inaugural offering, Da Luka and Aman combine their extensive forces for the first time, presenting the much anticipated single ‘Mythical Creatures’, alongside remixes from Golan Zocher & Kamilo Sanclemente and Chris Cargo. 

Providing the first interpretation of ‘Mythical Creatures’ are Golan Zocher & Kamilo Sanclemente who make their label debut. Colombian born, Israel based artist Golan Zocher makes progressive music that breaks boundaries, moves feet and twists minds. Following a 2016 debut, the Tel Aviv resident quickly found his place amongst the genre’s elite. Releases via Clubsonica, Mango Alley, Or Two Strangers and Plattenbank, highlight what has been an eight-year creative swell for this elusive talent. With a career that spans the better part of a decade, Colombian artist Kamilo Sanclemente has risen into one of his country’s most beloved progressive house producers. The Cali resident has showcased his music via highly regarded imprints such as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Replug and The Soundgarden, while earning continued support from the genre’s premiere tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Having been paired together previously on projects for Perspectives Digital and Modern Agenda, Golan and Kamilo unite once again with a stellar rendition of ‘Mythical Creatures’. As a favourite of Guy J, Guy Mantzur and Hernan Cattaneo across 2022, the duo’s remix has received considerable play time, stealing the air at the world’s trendiest clubs and biggest events, most notably BNP Open Life, Loveland, Midway, Moments, Womb and more. Highly sought after as a result, the duo takes inspiration from the original, remodeling the track into a magical slice of groove-centric progressive house. Complete with hook-heavy stabs, hyperactive rhythms and a complement of elastic-like melodies, it's an adrenalized energy-rush for the ages - one where Golan and Kamilo land at their creative best.

On ‘Macroscopic Ego’ Gorkiz & Auseeb masterfully synthesize their talents into one singular progressive minded vision. Punchy beats and a warm, rippling groove set the foundation for a narrative of dark stabs, cosmic effects and emerging atmospheres. Pushing a melodic mood into the break; the duo marries fluttery arps with balmy synth phrasing; building emotion with each successive pass, as heartfelt key changes and trance-inducing melodies unite, before eventually giving way to a fierce drum roll, thumping drop and smooth understated finale. Definitely something the more astute connoisseurs of the genre will appreciate, and the magic lies in the fact that it’s all accomplished without the use of big, obvious elements or overt production techniques. A stunning debut for Comet’s flagship imprint and with a bevy of interesting projects in the pipeline this certainly bodes for an exciting future amongst the industry’s elite imprints. Highly recommended.

Born in the 80’s.

Was introduced to the electronic music back in 2010 and attended a rave for the very first time in late 2019.
Move forward a few months to 2020, Covid happened and scenes along with most activities came to a halt. It was then, when he started to properly explore the work of brilliant artists from all over in the sub genres of house music.

As an avid listener he always found peace and solace in music from all the taxing worldly affairs, hence the inspiration to finally become a curator.

The journey began in early 2022, when He started to learn the basics. As the learning continues, as a curator, his aim is to encapsulate a range of emotions in mixes, providing the listener a pleasant sonic experience.

His mixes so far are heavily influenced by sounds from Deep, Organic, Progressive and Melodic House & Techno.
